The Directors continue to realise the value of Rugby Capital's portfolio and expect this programme to be substantially completed by the end of 2012. Subject to the needs of the asset management business, which is not intended to be capital intensive, the capital released is being returned to shareholders.
The objective is to leave the Group as an earnings-focused asset management business without the drawback of the substantial discount of share price to net assets which has traditionally dogged the quoted property sector, particularly for smaller companies.
